Where Ancient Wisdom Meets the Modern Nomad
If you’re here, you’re looking for something deeper than a postcard. You’re looking for the blueprint to total autonomy.
I’m Yari—a Financial Architect & Nomad. After 14 years exploring the globe and four years of full-time nomadic life, I didn’t just leave my "place"; I decolonized my mind, automated my businesses, and set out to backtrack my ancestors’ journeys.
Whether you are here to fund your exit strategy or to remember who you were before the world told you who to be—welcome home. The old systems are crumbling, but your skyscraper is waiting to be built.
Each series is a deliberate sequence. Read in order or jump in anywhere.

In the Age of Pisces, we were taught to believe. In the Age of Aquarius, we are required to know.
The colonizers of this planet tried to separate "Magic" from "Math," but they are the same thing. One is just the internal version; the other is the external version. As we move through the chaos of 2026, we are simply watching these two worlds collide and merge back into one.

⛓️💥 The Business of Being Free — Post 5: Old Enough to Be Invisible
Vietnam doesn't hire women past 33. I learned this from a teenager, watched it in every kitchen I ate in, and then experienced it firsthand at a resort that tried to gaslight me after a misoginist flipped me off.
🌍 Travel: A Blissful Tropical Month in Phu Quoc Vietnam (June 2026)
A month of doing almost nothing on purpose — the café I loved so much I switched resorts for it, a sunset I still think about, and why I skipped Sunset Town entirely.
🌍 Travel: What Istanbul Actually Cost Us — A Month on the 16th Floor
A month on the 16th floor in Kadıköy, the work, the city from above, and the exit that almost didn't happen.
Istanbul, for all its weight, was mostly a work month — and a productive one.
Jovan and I had the rhythm by then. He'd landed his first client weeks earlier in Kalkan; in Istanbul that became momentum. As I write this he's at five clients with a Discord launch coming. We worked. I cooked. We did the unglamorous, sustaining, ordinary-life things the nomad fantasy never shows you, in a high apartment over one of the largest cities on earth.
And the whole time, underneath the routine, I was solving the problem of how to leave and get back to my favorite continent: Asia.
⛓️💥 The Business of Being Free — Post 4: They Made It Sound Complicated on Purpose
I was sitting in a café in Vietnam scrolling through a job
post — because this is how I stay on top of important changes in my industry and others.
The client wanted someone fluent in "Record-to-Report." I've been doing every single item onthat list for 21 years.
I just never called it that.
🌍 Travel: Turkey-The Only Real Trip We Took — Driving South to North Through a Country That Didn't Want Us There (Post 2 of 3)
For three months in Turkiye we barely moved as tourists — the towns were closed and we lived like the working nomads we are.
But there was one real trip: Antalya to Konya to Ankara to Istanbul. The drive itself, South to North, was the most alive I felt out of the entire three months (besides my older son’s 2-week visit of course)
🌍 Travel: Turkey-We Were Supposed to See Cappadocia. We Saw Four Apartments, a Refund Trail, and the Most Beautiful Terrain I'd Ever Seen (Post 1 of 3)
Three months in off-season turkiye as a real digital nomad — a service dog nobody would house, four flawed apartments, and a trail of Airbnb refunds.
⛓️💥 The Business of Being Free — Post 3 - The System Doesn't Want You Free. It Especially Doesn't Want Women Free
He exists in every country I have ever set foot in. He arrives with emojis and sympathy and the language of "we're here for you." He disappears the moment it costs him something. Turkey is where I met four of him in a few months — and where I finally put into words what the enclosure actually is.
🌍 Italy Road Trip Post 2 of 2 - The Volcano Was Already Erupting When We Arrived
We arrived in Sicily as Etna erupted.
Then came the dog crate hunt, two airport trips, and a rental car I abandoned at the curb.
Here's what actually happened.
🌍 Travel: Italy Road Trip - Post 1 of 2 We Almost Died Three Times Before We Even Got to the Volcano (Summer 2024)
There's a version of this story where everything goes smoothly. Where the GPS works, the weather holds, the rental car company is honest, and you arrive at your glamping tent to a glass of local wine and a sunset view instead of a lightning bolt hitting the fence six feet from your window.
That is not this story.
⛓️💥 The Business of Being Free — Post 2
I have never undercharged for my work. In 25 years I lost as many clients as I kept — almost all for the same reason. I wouldn't move on price.
Then three left when they found out I had a team. The work was excellent. The files were accurate. That's when I understood what they were actually paying for.
⛓️💥 The Business of Being Free — Post 1
I'm sitting in Kalkan, Türkiye, a coastal town so beautiful it almost distracts you from the work that has to get done before your tourist visa expires in June.
Almost.
This morning, before most people in my timezone had made coffee…
🏗️ Awakened Architect Part 6: The Great Unlearning
I want to close this series the way I try to close every significant chapter of my life: with clarity about what it actually meant.
What connects all of it is a single process. I'm calling it The Great Unlearning — and it is the most important work I've done in my life, more than any business I've built or visa I've applied for or country I've navigated.
🏗️ Awakened Architect Part 5: The Quantum Leap
I didn't arrive at this point quickly.
My first dark night of the soul was in 2005. By 2012, when my mother passed, I had been wanting to leave the United States for years. I just hadn't built the infrastructure to do it yet.
Then 2020 happened.

🎲 When "Dumb Men and Their Deadly Toys" Ruin Your Itinerary
While killing citizens for their mere entertainment.
While I was coordinating 85 lbs of dog, 4 massive suitcases, and a teenager in the middle of the Mediterranean, the world decided to catch fire. Between the US-Iran tensions and the "war games" being played across Cyprus, Greece and Turkey, the atmosphere shifted.
I had to detour from our detour.
🌍 Travel: My Organized Mess Moving from One Country to Another
Dodging the Schengen Clock and Moving an 85lb Dog through the Mediterranean
Sometimes the best travel plan is the one you cancel.
Here is exactly why I ditched our original stops in Rhodes and Kastellorizo for an arrival in Fethiye and the "cheat codes" we’re using to move our entire digital nomad lives across the Aegean Sea without losing our minds.
🏗️ Awakened Architect Part 4: The African Frontier
Why the West is Sleepwalking While the South Sprints
In Part 3, we talked about "drifting"—the state of being stuck in a system that does your thinking for you. We talked about how exhausting it is to stay in "Satan's Playground," (Seten frequency) clinging to comfort while your soul decays.
Today, I want to show you where the opposite of drifting is happening.
🌍 Travel: The 2026 Turkey Pivot: Beach, Mountains, Lakes, and a 12-Day Blitz
February 19, 2026
I’ve officially scratched Kazakhstan off the list for now. Why? Because I’m choosing "Dog Speed" over "Cargo Ship Speed." Midnight (our 85lb tripawd) is quite the cargo himself, and Turkey offers a world of beauty we can explore by road without the stress of the Caspian Sea crossing.
🏺 THE GREAT REBOOT: Epilogue. After the Eclipse – The Signal is Now Clear
We just crossed the bridge.
On February 17th, while we were deep in the "Architectural Demolition" of the old world, a Partial Solar Eclipse moved through the sign of Aquarius. If you’ve felt a strange "buzzing" in your hands, or if your dreams have been more like cinematic downloads than sleep, this is why.
🏺 THE GREAT REBOOT: Post 5 The Synthesis – When Science Becomes Magic Again
This is the "Grand Finale" of the operating system. If the previous posts were about clearing the hardware and diversifying the assets, this is about the System Integration.
In the Mystery Schools, they didn't stop at five parts of the soul; they recognized nine. But for the "Great Reboot," we focus on the final alignment: turning the fragmented pieces of a colonized identity into the Akh—the Luminous Architect.
I’m ending this series where I began: looking at the horizon in Athens.
🌍 Travel: The 2026 Silk Road Pivot: Moving Two People and One Giant Dog Across the Map
February 16, 2026
If you’ve been following our journey, you know I don’t do "simple." I do "soul-searching with luggage." Currently, I’m sitting in Athens with a humongous to-do list, a dog who thinks he’s a lap cat, and flight-booking and ferry-booking deadlines that are staring me down.
Here is how the next few months are shaping up—and more importantly, how I’m putting this puzzle together.
